Havelock License Plate Agency Sought for Contract Software

The N. C. Division of Motor Vehicles is looking for applicants for a commissioned contractor to run a license plate agency ( LPA ) in Havelock.

LPAs are managed by private companies or local institutions in North Carolina, but the NCDMV is in charge of this process. After the present operator announced her retirement, the current location, at 319 W. Main St. in Havelock, may entirely close on August 6. Anna Mae Gibson has run the organization since 1998.

The team’s policy is to submit applications for license plate agencies after the contract is up or when there is a need for a new or additional agency in a particular county.

Completed programs must be returned to NCDMV no later than April 29. The Connect NCDOT site contains the forms MVR-93I, MVR-93B, and MVR-93M. Serious applicants may visit 919-615-8521 with questions. Programs must now be sent via email to ApplicationLPA@ncdot.gov. Uses submitted via mail-in will not be accepted.

LPAs also provide name and car registration services, as well as car license plate renewals, alternative tags, and duplicate registrations. In North Carolina, there are now 127 license plate enforcement organizations.

People are reminded that numerous car companies, including property tax obligations and register leases, can be completed online. Please explore MyNCDMV to get started. gov.

Terms and conditions and other rules

Censoring license plates

If personally identifying license plate information were easily traceable, it wouldn’t be on public display. Posts with intentionally obscured numbers or other features will be removed.

Seeking personal information

This information is not easily accessible. We don’t care that someone cut you off and now you want revenge. NOTE: posts asking to identify state or number or type in a blurry photo are allowed and encouraged.

Being a bigot

Please have respect for the other persons in this website. We all come with different viewpoints and life experiences, but we’re only here to talk about license plates. You can also use the website licenseplatesearch.com to search for a plate or review it.

Mentioning politics

No matter your political leaning, we don’t care about your beliefs. If your post/comment contains something political, even if it’s just a custom plate, we don’t want that here. This includes posting personalized plates pertaining to politics, even if you don’t provide a political comment. NOTE: inaugural license plates are allowed as they represent a significant element of plate-collecting history.

Spamming advertisement posts for services

Do you restore plates? Do you sell low-number tags? Do you have an eBay store? That’s neat! And we believe you should get a shot to showcase your services. However, these sorts of… entrepreneurial posts can often lead to spam, so we’re restricting this sort of posting to once every three months. You must use the “Advertisement” tag if it is a post.

Posting US government plates in collections

U.S. government/diplomat plates come in many forms and can be quite interesting. However, the ones from the past 40 years are also illegal for U.S. civilians to possess. As such, posts like this will be removed. Posts depicting U.S. government/diplomat plates on vehicles, however, are allowed.

Keeping posts on-topic

This website is for discussing license plates in one form or another.

Common repost

Some plates, especially those found in memes, are shared here constantly. We will remove any as we find them. Good rule of thumb: if you found the photo because it was re-shared online, it’s probably something we’ve already seen. This also applies to QQ plates and sovereign citizen plates.

Mod discretion

This website have the final say. Please also read terms and conditions.
